Faisal Masud » Chief Digital Officer, Executive Vice President of Global eCommerce, Staples
Faisal is a veteran in the eCommerce and Marketplace industry having held leadership roles at several Fortune-500 online retailers. He has over seventeen years of retail and distribution experience, primarily in the ecommerce industry, focused on merchandising, buying, planning, demand forecasting, supply chain, vendor performance management, 3PL, reverse logistics and drop-ship management.
Faisal Masud is the Executive Vice President of Global eCommerce at Staples where he is responsible for leading online and digital growth. Prior to joining Staples, Faisal was the Vice President of the Global Goods business at Groupon where he oversaw the general management over Merchandising, Buying, Operations, Product Development and Supply Chain. Previously, he was the Head of Global Marketplace Shipping and Delivery Experience at eBay, responsible for the management of US and Cross-Border transportation, logistics and export businesses.
Faisal was also the Director for Amazon Global Reverse-Logistics (overseeing WarehouseDeals, Trade-in Platform and Worldwide Customer Returns) at Amazon.com. He led various business teams including Mobile Electronics and Amazon’s North America Hardlines Inventory and Product Management teams. He also held leadership roles at Drugstore.com where he was Managing Director for OTC, responsible for managing the entire Supply Chain and Operations for the company’s Health & Beauty business. In addition, Faisal previously worked at Kozmo.com and Williams-Sonoma.
Faisal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southeastern University and currently serves as an Advisor to early-stage eCommerce Start-ups.
